Progress at  Salters Masonic Centre

 

 

This project is by the Freemasons' Association and was started in earnest January 2005, with the clearing of site.

Now we have made very good progress and  meetings are being held in the temple since November 2006.

This effort was due to the generosity of freemasons in general and the sale of Spry St. Building which was owned by the Scottish lodge Scotia,  Scottish-- Scotia Royal Arch and English ---Albion lodge.

The temple does NOT BELONG to either English or Scottish constitution ! but both.

You would never know this -looking at the interior.

All involved should be congratulated from the original idea by the late Br. Harold Hinds -

Br Hinds did not seek re-election  and his tremendous contribution cannot be measured.

 

The temple is in full use and serving all orders.

The car park with lighting duly completed is very attractive at night.

We are in the process of completing landscape and fencing.
