Progress at  Salters Masonic Centre

 

 

This project,is by the Freemasons' Association and was started in earnest January 2005, with the clearing of site.

Now we have made very good progress and have started having meetings in the temple by November 2006.

This effort is due to the generosity of freemasons in general and the sale of Spry St. Building which was owned by the Scottish lodge Scotia,  Scottish-- Scotia Royal Arch and English ---Albion lodge.

The temple does NOT BELONG to either English or Scottish constitution !

You would never know this -looking on the interior.

All involved should be congratulated from the original idea by Harold Hinds -to the present board of directors of which Brs H. HINDS and Barry Roberts are the longest serving members of the board.

Br Hinds did not seek reelection at this year AGM and his tremendous contribution cannot be measured.
